Its just a matter of waiting for the song to finish playing and you know what happens when you start converting a hype jam…u gonna feel like doing a set and there goes the project…again ;-)

Dude, how did you get your turntable to assemble itself!!! Can you do a video teaching us how to use the force!!! LOL…
Seriously though, I’ve been eyeing this turntable for a while. I have close to 2000 vinyls that i would love to transfer to mp3. I wonder if this sub 200.00 turntable is up for the task? How has it held up for you? Do you use it a lot? Great Video. Nice editing.

I think 128 is perfect considering the original source. I understand these machines can pick up sound as high as 12khz so anything over 128 is just wasted disc space. Also do the research, and the actual bit rate is just one factor that goes into a high quality mp3 file.

Jasper, practice and enjoy your new toy! I think you got a great piece of kit there!

it shipped with the ability to record mp3’s at 192 kbps, and there is an upgrade on the site to upgrade that to 256 kpbs

i like the idea of usb directly to computer but the only draw back is that it records it to 128 kbps MP3 files. thats good for an ipod or mp3 players. but for mobile dj play back in a hight end system is not good..is there any other turntables out there like this that record in a highter bit rate?

I used to have a turntable connected to a mixer, then the output from that mixer into the line-in of my sound card to record vinyl. I have a buddy who has the usb numark turntable and its plugs into the usb port and can record sound that way as well. I like this way to record directly to a usb memory key, and you don’t need speakers cause there is an option to switch the output to line as opposed to a phono output and they provide an adapter from rca to female headphone jack.
