My grandpa has this!
There are a few of these still
I’m not familiar with that model but it’s probably good.
i got a little pair of utah as 2a’s with the 8 inch woofer and 3.5 inch tweeter would you recomend that model?
@CassetteMaster:
When I was a kid I loved these Fisher stereo systems. I didn’t know this specific model, but among relatives and friends I could see some other similar items. It’s quite hard to find pictures of other models in the web, do you know of any sites? Looks like I’ll have to search in a lot of garage sales =)
Is that a black Nintendo Gamecube I see?
Hey man! Cool you enjoy this vintage equipment. I have sold my Fisher 500-C tube stereo to a collector. Also had the Fisher pre-amp/mixer. It had all the 1950’s RIAA equip curvers, reverse channels, spring reverb,.. etc built in. Top Audio in the late 50s and early 60s.
Glad you enjoy thie vintace equipment !
My mom played DDR Mario Mix, I like playing Tony Hawk’s Underground.
what gamecube came u been playing?
Yorx?? Fisher lost a lot by the 80’s. The old tube stuff was great.
I don’t know if yours are better or not because mine are also 3-way, with 12″ woofer.
The internet connection I was on wouldne’t show the vid 4 some reason, but I have a pair of Utah Audio HS5-A speakers in my basement. Do you know if these are better then yours? 12″ woofer, mid and a Horn high freq. driver. I think that the HF is gone, but even after tearing the speaker apart, all of the connections are good (checked and tesetd). I have come to the decision that the speakers are just realllllly old.
I have seen that same record in used record stores over the years.
Those old K-Tel compilations are good. I have a few on record. Impressive selection of 8-track decks.
I checked and they are HS1-C.
5.5 wide range drivers
What size speakers do they use?
I used to have a pair of yorx speakers but I had to get rid of them when we moved out But I do have a pair of Soundesign Floorstanding speakers (not the best) but loud!
I have a YORX Digital alarm clock/AM/FM Stereo/8-track player, but oddly, the DIGITAL clock RUNS TOO FAST!!! So you can’t keep time with it!
Do you have any YORX or soundesign Equipment?
nope but i saw them on ebay itz a 3 way woofer, mid, and horn tweeter
I’m pretty sure. That sounds right. Do you have the same speakers?
