That’s a nice stereo! I like the flywheel tuning and the sound. What is the name of the song you play on the cassette?? It sounds soo cool! Also, what contry are you in? The accent is cool!

the song was from the free demo tape which came with many Sanyo machines – a cover version of Michael Zager band’s hit ‘let’s all chant’.

Why make a big deal about a half-ass thrift store, stereo of that make. “You Brits really kill me” If you want high quality, get a pre-Jap, American made Fisher. I’ll admit that a Garrard Lab series turntable is hard to beat. Eh wot?

My family had a set of computer speakers like yours, our speakers were made by ACS Compro, I thought they rocked, and they weren’t that expensive in 1997, I think they were about $70. They were far better than those cheap shitty battery operated speakers many computers came with in the 90’s. My grandmother had a Sanyo stereo like that, the tape deck was on the right, and it had no 8 track deck, I’m way too young to know about 8 track, but I don’t think 8 tracks wer widly used here in Australia

I don’t know how easy it is to buy American made stereo systems outside of America, I see nothing wrong with a stereo system like this one as long as it works.

I know…I was just having some fun. I have four different Garrard record changers, which are British as you know. I also have some Collaro turntables. I woul like to send him some 8-tracks. They really sound good. Later.

Talking of computer speakers, we had cheap labtecs with our PC 15 years ago. My parents still have the same speakers but don’t think they’re very good.
