Poor girl, Roslyn probably would have made it big if it weren’t for her sister. Her voice does sound like Barbras – just not as good or kooky. She has Barbras eyes. I’m not saying her voice isn’t good, she has a great voice.

anyone have the ed sullivan episode with roslyn?
i think she’s better than streisand since she stayed in the range that made them instant sensations for us so long ago.
i stopped following streisand after her voice and personality
were lost to hollywood style. such a shame. wish roslyn would come back to nyc.. when did she do carnegie hall. wish i knew.

But it’s not really her fault that she happens to sound like her sister. What was she supposed to do–change her entire singing style just because her sister was famous?

I have been a fan since her first album.
    Love you.

Diana Kind can be heard on Barbra’s CD Collection Just For The Record. Diana sings some of Second Hand Rose.

its like a bad copy of babra.

but if you dont think of her as barbra’s half sister shes a goiod singer

i think she just needs her own style,
and the emotion her sister has in her singing

Wonderful – I saw her in person perform – about 1989. She was excellent throughout.
She sounds very much like her sister. She was very young when this was done.
Her Come in From the Rain was wonderful I remember.

I think not, Barbra is gorgeous! Roslyn is a mere bad impression, a wanna be star trying to mooch off her sisters fame.

I think she’s got a great voice.I once mistook her song “Love is easy” as Barbra’s new single years ago!, everyone kept saying to me why is that woman trying to sound like Barbra Streisand!.Then we did our research to discover she was Barbra’s sister.

Ignore that ignorant Michelle Hayworth, she has nothing else to do with her life than put others down. She has no clue about Ms. Kind.

At age 56+….yeah, she’s a star on the Horizon – NOT!

She made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2006. Get your facts straight.

Roslyn Kind also looks better than Barbra Streisand.

I have this same record too. However, my favorite song on it is the Beatle cover, “Fool on the Hill”. Is this the only record Roslyn ever made? The time I found this record was the only time I have ever seen it. I only ever read about this album in a biography about B. Streisand. Nonetheless, thanks for posting this. These are good songs too.

Another Barbra wannabe that hit the skids. She owns a bakery in Westwood, CA – LOW BUDGET!

  22. 24julyuk on January 22nd, 2010 7:03 am

she is very good. she’s got a deeper voice than Barbra and sometimes missing the refinement Barbra has. but still very good.

  24. almonkitt on January 24th, 2010 12:02 pm

yes she is!also what i love about this lp is the late 60’s style and the high sound quality, it was so easy to work with!

  25. Jennmoore69 on January 25th, 2010 7:17 am

Roz was all of 18 when she recorded this album. She is a very, very gifted singer actress in her own right.
