    No chance. Vinyls are now just a collectors item.

    I heard a recent piece on PBS that there are some music aficionados that prefer records to CD’s (I think the piece was made before MP3’s as they were not mentioned) because of the clearer sound. Anyway there was this company (small business) that even when CD’s took over the market they did well because they started perfecting the way records recorded by using some special/different vinyl.
    Anyway, that’s all I’ve heard recently about vinyl. I think something will eventually replace CD’s and MP3’s but I don’t know what. I think there will always be a niche for vinyl for certain types of music lovers.
